One Mother of a Day Readers do the Whole30 (May 2014)




Okay that is a long title, but I didn’t know how else to word it :/

I had this crazy idea just yesterday that I wanted to start my own Whole30 support group on Facebook. I have been contemplating doing another Whole30 (a real one this time) because honestly my eating hasn’t been the best, snack wise. Than I thought of maybe others would be interested in doing it too! I know it is always easier to stick to something when you have the support and accountability from others.


One Mother of a Day Whole30 May 2014

The Rules: Follow the guidelines to a Whole30 program. Eat only real, whole unprocessed foods for 30 days. Yes, 30 days all at once!

The Goal: You can set a short-term goal first with just sticking with it for 7 days, and see how you feel after that. Or can set a bigger goal with the whole 30 days! In my personal experience the first 7-14 days your body is just starting to adjust to the new foods that you are incorporating into your “diet”. So, ideally it is best to stick to the whole 30 days. Trust me you won’t regret it!

The Support group: I started a Facebook support group just for this program. We will have daily check-ins with those that want to participate. I will create new threads each day where you can share your food pics, struggles, mood, what ever it is you want to share. I will provide tips and advice before we start so you can be prepared come May 6th.

What to expect from this group:

I will provide: Shopping Lists, food prep and Meal ideas each week, tips/advice on food prep, and the support that you will need to finish the 30 days strong.

What I want from you?

I want 110% effort and the desire to do better your overall healthy.

You set your own goal.

This program is not easy,  but isn’t your health worth the fight?

Tuesday, May 6th, 2014.

Even if you don’t want to do the Whole30 but just want to stalk the group for meal ideas, that is completely fine too!! The more the merrier!

    Hey Lindsey, I don’t know that I’ll do the Whole30 but I would like to follow along. I’m currently doing another nutritional reset / diet which actually doesn’t conflict with Whole30, but I don’t know how many more days I can do without a little sugar…
